God’s Word and God’s Works

by @ 11:58 pm. Filed under Quotations. [add to del.icio.us]

To conclude, therefore, let no man out of a weak conceit of sobriety, or an ill-applied moderation, think or maintain, that a man can search too far or be too well studied in the book of God’s word, or in the book of God’s works; divinity or philosophy; but rather let men endeavour an endless progress or proficience in both.

We all must continually keep learning, the bible and other sources will help us understand our destinies. I do understand that not everyone shares my beliefs, but from a purely personal standpoint, I cannot imagine how I would make it through from day to day, without knowing and believing in God.
